Kaitlin Kirker

PT, DPT, OSC, FAAOMPT

Kaitlin Kirker, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long Island University. She currently works as a physical therapist at Masefield and Cavallaro Physical Therapy in the outpatient orthopedic setting. Dr. Kirker is an adjunct assistant professor at Long Island University in the Department of Physical Therapy teaching physiology, orthopedic clinical reasoning, and assists in the musculoskeletal curriculum. In addition, she played a role in the development and execution of the DPT Capstone Research project, which now includes a joint student-faculty systematic review. She is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist. She also recently began her DSc at Bellin College. Dr. Kirker has published thirteen peer-reviewed articles, and has had six posters accepted for presentation at the Combined Sections Meeting of the American Physical Therapy Association focusing on the rehabilitation of orthopedic pathologies.
